There are various places to study.
Students can study in libraries, home, ECC or café. Students sometimes complain
that people in cafés are too noisy and annoying and that they cannot
concentrate on their work. Although there are many cafés that people can study
in, there are not many that are suitable for studying. So we searched some cafés
near Ewha. We found three cafés that are quiet and good places to study.
First, there is Ewha Dabang. It is located on the street which goes from the front
gate towards Shinchon. It is a newly opened café, so its interior is neat and
clean. It is a spacious place with many seats, so lots of people can use this café.
Moreover, it is on the 8th floor so you would not be irritated by
the noise of the street. Since it is located on a high floor, it has wide view,
so you would not feel stuffy while you are studying. Also, there are desk lamps
on each table that allow you to concentrate better and it builds a study atmosphere.
There are abundant outlets and there is free internet that you can use their
laptops with convenience.
Second, Waffle It Up is waiting for you. It has one of the best waffles of
any café near Ewha. The best thing about this café is that the place is separated.
One area is for those of you who want to chat and the other is for those of you
who want to study. This study area is quiet and they only play music that has
no lyrics, so you can focus on your work. However, the place is slightly dark
so it is better for computer use rather than for reading. Also, it has free
internet and many outlets which mean that you will not have trouble with using
your laptop.
Finally, this is the cutest café that
we recommend. It is the café named Lasim.
It is located near Mr. Pizza. It is a
store specializing in pancakes so when you get hungry, you can eat those delicious
pancakes and continue studying. The café is not really big but it is a cozy
place to study. It has comfortable chairs so that you will be able to study for
a long time. The sun streams into the room and the wall is white, so it is
suitable for reading and writing. In addition, there are some books to read so
when you get bored with your school work, you can do some light reading.
There are so many good cafés to study in
that we do not know about. For those days that you have assignments that require
computer use, you can go to Ewha
Dabang or Waffle It Up. For those
days, when you have to study for a test or read, you can visit Lasim. Try these cafés and you will get
your own place to study.
